Enfocus has announced its latest update for its PitStop solution.
The 25.11 update makes PitStop – already the gold standard PDF proofing software – even more powerful for print professionals thanks to a number of new features and improvements. Notably, the update marks the launch of the beta version of Enfocus Botus, an AI powered chatbot to support users in making the most out of PitStop’s many useful features.
In addition, the update brings macOS 26 (Tahoe) compatibility, a new Layer panel that enables more efficient layer editing by offering an overview of all layers and their properties, the ability to select unnecessary clipping objects, improved detection of thin objects, a host of bug fixes, and many more productivity boosting upgrades.

Loïc Aigon, product manager, felt the update was one of the most significant in the nearly 30 year history of PitStop. ‘Botus represents a huge leap forward for PitStop,’ he said. ‘With Botus, we want to help our users to extract the maximum value out of PitStop, enabling them to chat and request assistance to find solutions to their issues much more quickly. Botus is still in beta, so we are looking forward to collaborating with our community to ensure it can get even better with feedback.
‘It is the latest step in our journey to optimise our customers’ workflows and deliver affordable, flexible automation that empowers creativity and boosts profitability. We are excited to see Botus unlock its full potential with the help of our community – the sky is the limit.’
Other features include the selection of colours by tints in the DeviceN colour space and the generalisation of the ‘Save to’ pop up when working with Standard resources. The 25.11 release also enables users to constrain lines to 45° angles when drawing paths by holding the shift key and introduces a new Default Preflight Profile.
The update is to be rolled out to active PitStop subscribers starting on 4 November 2025. To access Botus, users must have a current PitStop subscription and be opted in to data analytics.
