Facer. Progressive Printed Packaging, a Leeds based printed packaging manufacturer, is celebrating 85 years in the print and packaging industry this year.

The business, which embraces heritage and innovation in equal measure, has recently brought its first UK plastic free blister pack to market.

Luke Wilson, managing director, said: ‘I often describe Facer as an 85 year old start up. Being young at heart is just as important for a business as it is for a person. When you are young at heart, you are more open. Open to new opportunities, open to learn, open to change, open to grow.’

This openness has resulted in a successful plastic free alternative to the well known blister pack. The ability to combine innovative packaging solutions and impactful print and print finishing techniques, has seen brands make this swap with ease.
