Falconer’s 2023 gift pack unveils a carousel of wonders

Falconer has once again raised the bar in festive gifting with its 2023 Christmas gift pack – a carousel of wonders. Building on the success of its 2022 Nutcracker themed set, last year's offering skilfully combines exquisite design with functionality. Each of Falconer's clients and employees received one of the 500 produced gift sets, as a gesture of appreciation.
The gift pack not only delights visually, but also surprises with its unique feature – a light reactive sound mechanism that plays a Christmas song upon opening, thereby creating a cheerful and festive experience for the recipient. This approach aligns with Falconer's philosophy of leaving a lasting impression through thoughtfully designed packaging.
The carousel theme, synonymous with Christmas, was selected for its intricate, eye catching design, ensuring the pack is not only aesthetically pleasing, but also sturdy and postal friendly. Employing a palette of cyan and cool grey, accentuated with luxurious gold foil, the pack exudes premium quality.
Crafted from strong, 590 micron Iggesund Incada silk and adorned with reflective Kurtz 457 foil, the carousel design, complete with an e-flute carry case, was developed by the company’s in-house CAD team. The carousel itself houses three segmented boxes, each filled with a curated selection of festive treats, including premium rums, gins, vodkas and gourmet snacks.
Committed to sustainability, Falconer ensured that all components of the gift pack were fully recyclable, underlining its dedication to eco friendly practices.
‘We aimed to craft a package that not only serves as a beautiful gift, but also delivers an unforgettable experience,’ said Colin Pow, sales and marketing director. ‘Innovation and attention to detail are at the heart of everything we do and with this gift pack, we have combined elegant design with an element of surprise, ensuring each unboxing is a memorable moment.’
Falconer is exhibiting on stand Q44 at the forthcoming Packaging Innovations event at Birmingham’s NEC, on 21 and 22 February 2024, where the gift pack will also be on display.
