Flint Group Packaging Solutions is to increase prices across its packaging inks and coatings portfolio in Europe from 1 January 2027. The adjustment reflects sustained cost pressures affecting raw materials, energy and freight.

Energy and freight costs remain high. Pigment costs have increased significantly due to capacity shortages for raw materials in Asia, particularly India and China. High natural gas prices are also driving up the cost of carbon black. Together, these pressures have increased the cost of manufacturing and supplying inks and coatings.
Wherever feasible, Flint Group Packaging Solutions continues to focus on internal efficiency initiatives and assess opportunities to mitigate cost and risk for its valued customers. However, the scale and persistence of supply side cost pressures make price increases necessary to maintain the product quality, service and supply reliability customers expect.
The company continues to work closely with suppliers to manage costs and ensure continuity of supply.
Its local sales representatives will be in contact with customers to confirm details.
