Formara Print & Marketing has invested in new inkjet production technology to expand its short run, full colour printing capabilities, responding to increasing demand for faster turnaround, and personalised print.

The investment sees the company install the Kirk-Rudy Firejet 4C from AMS Mailing Systems, a production inkjet system that bridges the gap between toner based printers and large production presses. The move strengthens Formara’s ability to efficiently produce small to mid volume colour print, whilst maintaining consistent quality and predictable running costs.
The Firejet 4C combines Kirk-Rudy’s heavy duty transport engineering with Memjet inkjet technology, enabling full bleed colour printing across a wide range of substrates. These include envelopes, postcards, flyers, posters, gift bags, napkins, coffee sleeves, and coasters, expanding the creative and commercial scope of short run print applications.
Integrated XColor RIP and colour management software supports workflow control and colour consistency, while built-in consumables cost tracking provides greater transparency and efficiency in production. Practical features such as simplified printhead replacement and a pneumatic lift for the print module support reliability in a busy production environment.
By bringing this capability in-house, Formara can offer greater flexibility, and improved cost control, particularly for clients running targeted campaigns, or variable print activity.
