Antalis Packaging has added Grip Systems hand stretch film dispenser and films to its portfolio of products for pallet wrapping.

Ensuring workforce health and safety has to be a priority for all businesses; however, some activities can present a real challenge. Hand wrapping pallets is one of those activities that requires operators to stretch and move in such a way that can lead to musculoskeletal strains and injuries.

The Grip Stretch Film Dispenser has been designed to remove stress and strain on the operator while at the same time improving wrapping time and wrap quality.

Weighing less than 1 kg, the Grip film dispenser system is light in weight, making it easy to wrap awkward loads and reach high corners with minimum effort, while the skid plate lets the operator get low to grab bottom corners.

Because Grip Film automatically contracts and creates a strapping effect when applied, it is perfect for wrapping irregular loads. Combined with excellent puncture resistance and a reinforced edging, Grip Film keeps pallets secure and stable during transit.

Grip Film is available from stock in options including an Elite (lighter duty) and Premium (heavy duty) clear film, with other specifications including tinted films available upon request

Category manager Steve Marples commented, ‘Grip Systems’ film dispenser and films is ideal for operations wrapping pallets by hand. With it, they can achieve up to 40% savings in time, waste and costs. I would also recommend all sizes of business take advantage of Antalis’ free stretchConsult service. It is a really valuable exercise that ensures customers receive advice on both the best equipment and stretch film for their operation.’
