Packaging Solutions
Packaging Innovations and Empack has released a selection of exhibitor launches ahead of the show’s return to Birmingham’s NEC on 25 and 26 May. The event represents an opportunity for visitors to experience the latest technology throughout the packaging industry, whilst facilitating networking opportunities for buyers and suppliers alike.
Epson will unveil its ColorWorks C4000E label printer, offering high quality, high resolution, four colour print output. The C4000 range can be integrated and connected with existing systems and use gloss or matte black ink, which are smudge, water, and fade resistant.
Reedbut will present its sustainable letterbox packaging, designed to transport products safely. The corrugated solution is sustainable and produced in line with the FSC mark of responsible forestry.
Jindal Films will display its range of BOPE films. The Ethy-Lyte films are designed to offer fully recyclable, mono-material Polyethylene solutions, by substituting PET or OPA printing films in mixed laminates with PE sealing films.
Camvac will showcase ExtraPET PCR – its high barrier lidding film with over 30% post consumer recycled content. It can be used to package processed fresh meat, poultry, vegetable and bakery products, and is designed to reduce plastic going to landfill.
Finally, Schur Star Systems will debut a range of bagging machines, which support different bag shapes and sizes, and semi-automatic and automatic filling. They can also be combined with other functions, including weighing, processing, marking, and labelling.
Renan Joel, divisional director of Easyfairs, said: ‘Our exhibitors continue to break new ground year after year, with them using the shows to launch new and exciting technologies to market. This year is no different. I can’t wait for the doors to open and see all of the innovation on show!’
