Integrity Communications Group has strengthened its production operations with the addition of Canon’s varioPrint iX3200 digital inkjet press. The investment builds on a long standing partnership that spans multiple Canon devices, including the VarioPrint i300, ColorStream 6700 and imagePress V700, across Integrity’s UK operations.
The installation of the varioPrint iX3200 marks the latest phase in Integrity’s strategy to modernise and scale its print fleet, with a clear focus on increasing capacity, improving efficiency and ensuring reliable, consistent performance across its high volume production workflow. The investment also delivers tangible gains in print quality and media versatility, enabling Integrity to meet a broader range of customer requirements.
Founded in 2008 following a management buyout from Communisis, Integrity Communications Group has evolved into a £70 million organisation, delivering security, communications and labels printing across a variety of sectors, including financial services, utilities, public sector and retail. Its Integrity Connect division specialises in critical, data sensitive communications for local government, social housing, elections and other regulated markets.

Since partnering with Canon in 2016, the business has seen a significant uplift in productivity, enabling it to keep up with 24 hours of daily production, five days a week. This has enabled Integrity to navigate the intense pressure of its two annual peak periods in February and September, driven by its strong presence in the social housing sector. During these times, housing providers are required to communicate annual rent reviews and service charge information, both regulated mailings with legally mandated delivery deadlines, resulting in significantly increased demand. The addition of the varioPrint iX3200 enhances this capacity further, delivering greater media versatility and faster, more consistent throughput, to support the organisation’s next stage of development.
Thanks to its advanced inkjet architecture, wider substrate range and high quality colour output, the iX3200 enables Integrity to expand more confidently into creative, colour rich applications, producing high precision print with consistent colour reproduction and fine detail. These support growing areas such as direct mail marketing, charity fundraising campaigns, and travel communications.
The device also strengthens Integrity’s operational resilience, with Canon’s secure remote diagnostics allowing engineers to identify and respond to potential issues before they interrupt production. This early predictive maintenance during Integrity’s initial i300 deployment proved particularly impactful, with Canon engineers proactively arriving with replacement parts ahead of expected wear.
The rollout of the iX3200 is being overseen by the manufacturer’s services and field service teams, working closely with Integrity’s engineering and IT departments to ensure seamless integration within the company’s secure environment, including its dual on‑site data centres and encrypted data workflows.
Integrity is now exploring the option of adding a second iX-series device later in 2026.
Andrew Law, sales and marketing director, commented: ‘Canon’s technology has played a crucial role in transforming our print operations over the last five years. The reliability of the equipment has been outstanding, giving us complete confidence during our busy periods and allowing us to deliver consistent results for our customers. The varioPrint iX3200 is an exciting next step for us – enabling us to take efficiency to the next level while also opening up opportunities for us to diversify our offering.’
