Kento Digital Printing and Emmepi Group have signed a new technical and commercial collaboration agreement that brings together two of the most forward looking companies in the corrugated industry. The agreement, signed in November 2025, aims to facilitate the integration between Kento’s hybrid flexo-digital printing technology and Emmepi Group’s handling and conveying systems, offering customers coordinated solutions that enhance overall production flow.

Under this new agreement, Kento will recommend and integrate Emmepi Group’s automated handling systems as the ideal complement to its Kento Hybrid lines.

The collaboration covers three key areas:

  • Feeding systems: automatic pre-feeders that optimise material flow and minimise downtime before printing.

  • Transport systems: conveyors and transfer tables for precise board handling between processes.

  • Outfeed automation: stripping, stacking, and palletising systems designed for lines with inline rotary die cutters.

This helps create a synchronised production environment where every component communicates efficiently through a shared Siemens electronic platform, ensuring compatibility, reliability and performance.

‘We are proud to collaborate with Kento,’ said Alessandro Bersanetti, president of Emmepi Group. ‘Its hybrid concept is an ideal solution for corrugated printing, and our systems help ensure it operates with the speed and reliability converters expect.’

Both companies share a similar mindset: innovation built on practicality.

Kento’s hybrid printing technology – combining flexo, single pass inkjet, and in line rotary die cutting – redefines how converters approach short and mid run production.

Emmepi Group’s automation and logistics systems complete the loop, ensuring that the movement of corrugated board is streamlined and efficient.

‘Emmepi Group’s peripherals are a perfect complement to our hybrid lines,’ said Javier Quesada, CEO and founder of Kento. ‘Together, we can deliver integrated, high performance systems that help our customers reach new levels of productivity.’

Through this collaboration, the two companies further strengthen their commitment to simplifying corrugated production by combining innovation, automation and precision in a cohesive workflow. Together, they offer converters a complete, end to end solution that improves overall equipment efficiency, return on investment and sustainability, while maintaining the flexibility that packaging converters demand.
