Konica Minolta and Solimar Systems confirm strategic partnership

Konica Business Solutions (UK) and Solimar Systems have expanded their strategic partnership. Now including Konica Minolta’s UK operations as well as those in the USA, the extended partnership between these two prominent companies is a testament to this collaboration’s success to date and the many benefits it brings to both organisations’ valued customer base.

The US and now UK partnership brings workflow enhancing solutions from the Solimar Chemistry platform to Konica Minolta customers. Solimar’s modular software platform captures and supports the migration of print to Konica Minolta output devices and supports traditional data driven print environments. Solimar’s solutions also support new technologies coming to market from Konica Minolta, offering print companies streamlined workflows that drive business efficiencies and boost return on investment.

We will replicate this partnership in the UK, combining Solimar workflow solutions for existing and potential customers of the Accurio range of output devices, whether that be toner based or inkjet cutsheet,’ commented Jamie Walsh, sales manager for EMEA and APAC, Solimar Systems.

The partnership combines a wealth of experience in workflow and digital cutsheet inkjet printing equipment.

Replicating the success of the existing partnership in the USA, the two companies will provide value added capabilities with a single point of control, including production environment dashboards and alerts through the Solitrack suite for increased visibility, tracking and reporting.

Konica Minolta will distribute the Solimar Chemistry platform throughout the UK.
