Konica Minolta Business Solutions (UK) Ltd will be appearing at the UK Packaging Expo 2026, which is taking place from 10 to 11 November at Exhibition Centre Liverpool. On stand G8, the company will spotlight its digital print, workflow automation, labels and embellishment technologies and share insights into how commercial printers, packaging specialists and brand owners can unlock new growth through high quality, short run and quick turnaround on‑demand packaging production.
Konica Minolta's team of specialists will be on hand to discuss visitors’ needs and how the company’s latest AccurioShine embellishment solutions, AccurioPress cutsheet devices and AccurioLabellabel presses – including the recently launched AccurioLabel 231 – can meet these, providing guidance for businesses exploring or scaling their digital print for packaging.

The company’s embellishment technology enables packaging producers to create spectacular and irresistible print products with foiling and varnishing effects that address the needs of discerning customers who look for added value and sophistication. Its label portfolio also continues to gain momentum globally, with more than 2000 AccurioLabel presses installed worldwide. This growth reflects increasing demand for flexible, cost effective digital label production as label producers seek shorter runs, faster turnaround times and greater customisation.
The new AccurioLabel 231, launched in September 2026, is designed for small and medium sized label converters, helping businesses handle more jobs with greater accuracy and reduced operator intervention. Optional automation through the Intelligent Quality Optimizer (IQ) provides real time calibration and colour monitoring, ensuring repeatable, consistent results and minimising waste. For applications requiring greater creative impact, the AccurioLabel 400 adds white toner capability, opening up opportunities for striking white effects on transparent and coloured media and helping labels achieve a more distinctive, premium finish.
Recent sales, such as Handy Labels becoming the first UK customer to order the AccurioLabel 231, also demonstrate the growing appetite for digital label production among packaging producers and commercial printers seeking to diversify and meet rising demand for premium, short‑run applications.
At the UK Packaging Expo, Konica Minolta will offer visitors practical guidance on how digital print can support operational efficiency, reduce waste and open new commercial opportunities. The team will share insights into market trends, workflow integration and the business case for digital label adoption.
Malcolm Smith, category manager – professional print, commented: ‘The UK Packaging Expo is a fantastic opportunity for businesses to explore how digital print can elevate their offering. We will be discussing the full potential of our embellishment, cutsheet and labels portfolio and demonstrating how accessible, profitable and high quality digital printing has become. We look forward to meeting visitors in Liverpool and helping them discover how digital labels can drive growth, efficiency and a competitive advantage.’
