Kyocera Document Solutions has launched the Ecosys 3500 Series, a range of five A4 black and white devices, two printers and three multifunction printers designed to help organisations increase productivity through more efficient workflows, while embracing top tier security and championing sustainable business practices.

The devices offer print speeds of up to 35 pages per minute, and incorporate new features such as increased RAM and a faster controller, which reduce waiting times for first prints and enable the handling of more complex print jobs. The PA3500x and PA3500wx also include an upgraded five line LCD panel, making the management of complex tasks easier and reducing the learning curve for new users.

All devices in the Ecosys 3500 Series integrate seamlessly with key platforms such as Microsoft Universal Print and Chrome OS, meaning they are fully adapted to the varied software ecosystems of modern businesses. This is particularly beneficial for organisations operating hybrid work models where employees use different operating systems across multiple locations, and ensures minimal disruption to workflows.

Crucially, the Series devices are also equipped with K-Level security packed with advanced features to safeguard sensitive information. For example, Secure Boot and Run Time Integrity Check (RTIC) ensures that printers are protected from potential threats throughout their lifetime, while all devices in the range support TLS1.3 and come with integrated security information and event management (SIEM) capabilities. Users in heavily regulated industries can also make use of optional upgrades such as a Trusted Platform Module (TPM) and card authentication kits, for additional layers of protection.

Finally, the Ecosys 3500 Series builds on Kyocera’s established reputation for environmental excellence: all devices are built with durable, energy efficient components and use eco friendly toner that is free from titanium dioxide. An optimised maintenance kit further ensures efficient performance over time, and ensures components require less frequent replacement. In addition, the series offers lower typical electricity consumption (TEC) values, contributing to lower bills and reduced environmental impact.

Peter Dresser, product marketing manager at Kyocera Document Solutions UK, said: ‘When investing in new print devices, every business wants products that are reliable, secure, energy-efficient and environmentally sustainable.

‘These new additions to the Ecosys range will help our channel partners and customers meet the above requirements, by ensuring that the running costs of devices are kept to a minimum while maintaining high levels of performance and ease of use, and that the company’s print estate is fully compatible with the wider organisation’s sustainability goals.’
