In January 2012, Barnard & Westwood became one of the privileged few to be awarded a second Royal Warrant for Printing by His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales.

Maurice Bennett CBE, the renowned entrepreneur and retailer saw an opportunity in 2020 to invest in a business steeped in craftsmanship and celebrate its artisanal printing heritage.

‘I am very proud to be part of the Barnard & Westwood team. Key for its development will be to secure the existing skill set and ensure that its passed on through the recruitment of apprentices.’

Although the industry has had a tough year, with the new resources at Barnard & Westwood’s disposal, the company will be focusing on growth through investment and acquisition as well as expanding its offering to trade and design agency clients through its specialisation in highly sought after, niche, high end printing and finishing processes.
