MM Packaging Ibérica achieves EcoVadis Platinum

MM Packaging has announced its Ibérica facility in Spain has been awarded the EcoVadis Platinum placing it among the top 1% of more than 150,000 companies assessed worldwide

The Spanish site excelled in its environmental policy, achieving a score of 94 out of a possible 100 for its commitment to addressing industry specific sustainability issues. The report highlighted that the facility had made significant progress in reducing its Scope 3 emissions by 53% since 2019, while the company’s newly launched moulded pulp, a fibre based, plastic free solution, was a major indicator of its dedication to reducing packaging waste and continued support of wider sustainability initiatives.

Alcarazo Joaquin, MM Packaging Ibérica managing director, said: ‘This achievement places us among the top rated companies assessed by EcoVadis and reflects our strong commitment to sustainability, responsible business practices, and continuous improvement across key areas such as environment, labour and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement.
