MPH Ltd has underlined its commitment to excellence and doubled its flexo plate production with the addition of a new CDI flexo plate imaging unit at its Essex facility.
Director Ian Runacres said the latest hardware acquisition represents a significant stride in the company’s commitment to innovation and delivering quality plates to its customers. ‘With the addition of a second CDI Spark imager we are supercharging our plate production capabilities, immediately doubling our capacity for top notch plate manufacturing,’ said Ian. ‘This investment aligns seamlessly with our dedication to delivering high quality flexographic printing solutions with increased efficiency and precision.’

Founded in 1982, MPH started out as a pre-press artwork studio and platemaking business. Following a management buyout of the business in 2020, the entire facility relocated to a factory space along the River Stour in Manningtree, Essex.
‘Following our recent investment in a new Vianord Engineering flexographic plate processor, the integration of this second Esko CDI imager into our production is a testament to our ongoing efforts to enhance our processes and deliver unparalleled results to our clients,’ said Ian. ‘Our philosophy has always been to keep at the cutting edge of development and this latest investment enables us to offer our clients the best technology to meet market demand.
‘We are committed to staying at the forefront of technology, and this newest installation brings our total investment to nearly half a million pounds since 2020 alone.’
