New iJetColor 1275 Pro and iJetColor 1175 Pro + PXG

Printware is to introduce two new additions to its iJetColor portfolio – the iJetColor 1275 Pro and iJetColor 1175 Pro + PXG.

The new systems represent the next generation of Printware’s commitment to helping commercial printers, direct mail providers, and packaging manufacturers ‘Do More with Inkjet’ by providing production ready solutions designed to expand application capabilities, improve productivity, and create new revenue opportunities.

The iJetColor 1175 Pro + PXG builds upon the proven success of the iJetColor 1175 Pro platform, combining high speed envelope production with expanded short run packaging capabilities. The integrated PXG Feeding System enables printers to move beyond envelopes and print a wide range of packaging applications including paper bags, small corrugated, folding cartons, and other compatible substrates.

With more than 1000 successful installations worldwide, the iJetColor 1175 platform has established itself as a dependable production solution for high speed envelope printing. The new 1175 Pro + PXG expands that proven platform with greater application flexibility, allowing print companies to diversify their offerings and capture additional revenue without investing in multiple production platforms.

Also new is iJetColor 1275 Pro, Printware’s newest high speed production inkjet solution designed for commercial printers requiring offset level production volumes with the flexibility and economics of digital inkjet.

Powered by HP’s next generation 108 mm TIJ 4.0 printhead technology, the iJetColor 1275 Pro features a four colour CMYK print bar engineered to deliver high precision, full colour envelope printing, at fast production speeds.

The 1275 Pro is built specifically for demanding production environments, combining high speed inkjet technology with a robust, reliable feeding and transport system. Its rotary vacuum pick up feeder holds up to 1000 envelopes, while roller based alignment provides consistent and reliable feeding throughout production. The system is designed for single operator production, helping print companies maximise throughput while minimising operator intervention.

Beyond speed, the iJetColor 1275 Pro is designed around the economics of high volume envelope production. Its low cost, pigment based ink is engineered for offset volume applications while providing durable, water, fade and scratch resistant output. The system also incorporates colour managed RIP technology and PMS colour matching capabilities to provide consistent, repeatable color across production runs.
