Packaging producers, suppliers and technology developers are set discuss the future of the label and packaging supply chain this summer at the first Packaging & Label Forum, a new event from Esko in association with some of the other biggest names in the sector.
From 7 to 8 June 2023, the two day event will give packaging and label professionals the opportunity to network with suppliers from across the industry, to participate in open mic sessions, to share and learn tips and tricks, receive expert technical advice, and hear from industry leaders and keynote speakers. Held at Holywell Park, Loughborough, the inaugural Packaging & Label Forum will include presentations and speakers from companies including HP, Cerm, DuPont, Asahi, GMG, AV Flexographic and more.
‘This one of a kind, multi-zone event will feature discussions on the topics that are top of the agenda for businesses in 2023,’ said James Mason, Esko regional business director. ‘We will take an in-depth look at everything from how market dynamics are fuelling the need for operational efficiency through to how automation and lean manufacturing are helping drive efficiency and sustainability.
‘With the support of our global partners, we have prepared a packed agenda of discussions and demonstrations that will address the challenges the industry faces today, while looking to the future. For example, we will examine the findings of FIAUK research into key market insights of the flexographic industry operating in the UK, while our friends at Ecoveritas will unpack the future of UK packaging policy.’
