Plus Print strengthens wide format offering with latest investment

Dublin based print business Plus Print has said its recent investment in a new HP Latex 830W printer is already paying dividends, helping the company strengthen its wide format offering while supporting its future growth plans.

Founded in 1985, Plus Print is a family run company that specialises in both lithographic and large format printing. The business primarily focuses on producing graphics for corporate offices, events, galleries, museums, and similar high visibility environments.

The company is a long term user of HP printing technology, having installed its first machine from the manufacturer more than 20 years ago.

Plus Print invested in the new printer through NTI Digital Solutions, with the Latex 830W installed at the company's dedicated Dublin production facility in May. Replacing an older Latex 360, the new machine has already delivered significant improvements in production, according to print production manager Marcin Markiewicz.

‘We upgraded to the new machine specifically for its white ink flexibility, superior print quality, and eco friendly credentials,’ Marcin said. ‘The new machine offers improved speed and print quality, and we are primarily using it for producing graphics for buses, vehicle wraps, posters and backlit media.’

The new machine joins an established fleet of technology at Plus Print, which also includes a Latex R2000 installed in 2018 and a Latex 3100 that has been in operation since 2014. Marcin said the latest investment has further strengthened the company's production capacity, enabling it to enhance the service it provides to existing customers while supporting future business growth.
