Pont Packaging Group has announced the launch of its new tethered cap system for Petpackers, designed to meet evolving sustainability standards and deliver added value for customers in the vitamins, minerals and supplements’ sector and beyond.
Designed to comply with EU recycling guidelines, Pont’s new tethered cap solution improves the recyclability of the Petpacker range, by remaining attached to the bottle during use with their tamper evident bands, while maintaining the convenience and functionality that brands and consumers’ demand.
Key benefits for customers:
Improved sustainability: reduces plastic waste by ensuring the PP closure is not separated from the Petpacker jar and therefore is less likely to cause additional plastic pollution.
Plug and play system: eliminates the need for foil liners for some applications.
Consumer friendly design: easy to use, secure fit with smooth opening and closing, improving user experience without compromising safety.
Versatile application: available in six popular bottle sizes (100 ml up to 300 ml), all with a 38 mm three-start neck finish, and in a range of brand colourways (no carbon black).

The new tethered caps are available in 38 mm size in various colours, to suit multiple sizes of jars and bottles, with options to customise bottles in line with brand guidelines. Pont also offers end to end support, from technical advice to supply chain integration, ensuring a smooth transition for manufacturers.
