Precision Card Services celebrates 30 years of printing innovation

Print Solutions

Precision Card Services has been celebrating its 30th anniversary this year.

Since the company was established in 1993 by Rob Nicholls and Tim Holt, it has been at the forefront of print and card manufacturing, and this milestone marks a meaningful journey of growth.

The Cheshire based business, which now employs around 40 people, has seen its commitment to innovation and service being recognised with numerous awards wins.

‘We are incredibly grateful to our loyal customers, dedicated employees, and supportive partners, who have been integral to our success throughout the 30 years of PCS,’ said managing director Adam Unsworth. ‘We look forward to seeing PCS continue to grow in the coming years.’

In 2018, the company expanded its operations by launching the Plastic Card Hub, a web to print platform, alongside a £1 million digital print production facility, adding further to the company's service offering and continuing growth.

Not only did 2022 see a successful rebrand to Precision Card Services, but it also saw the introduction of ‘made from 100% recycled PVC’ to its product offering. The change from Plastic to Precision signifies how the business has evolved whilst further demonstrating its commitment to sustainability and being a responsible manufacturer within the print industry.

Recently, the company was acquired by Woodberry Packaging, a move that will accelerate its growth and expand its operations in the future.
