Premier expands sustainable product offering with eTEC Air-R Bubble Board Black Core

Premier has announced the launch of eTEC Air-R Bubble Board Black Core, an innovative, PVC free addition to its sign and display range available in the UK and Ireland.

Made in Europe and featuring a black polypropylene core containing up to 80% recycled content by weight, this latest development reinforces Premier’s commitment to providing high performance, environmentally responsible solutions for the print and display industry.

Building on the success of eTEC Air Bubble Board White Core, the newest addition retains the smooth, bright white virgin polypropylene surfaces on both sides, ensuring vibrant and accurate prints. However, the addition of a black core enhances opacity, eliminating show-through and making it particularly suitable for point of sale displays, signage, exhibition panels, and other high impact visual applications.

Designed for UV, latex, and screen printing, eTEC Air-R Bubble Board Black Core is corona treated, ensuring excellent ink adhesion and print quality. The board is also highly versatile in production, compatible with flatbed cutting (drag knife), die cutting (hot and cold), guillotining, hot welding, folding, and even laser cutting, making it a practical choice for a wide range of fabrication methods.

Its UV treatment ensures durability for long term outdoor use, providing resistance to the elements without compromising on sustainability. Additionally, eTEC Air-R Bubble Board Black Core is fully recyclable and qualifies for disposal through the FESPA Waste Management Scheme, offering a responsible end of life solution for businesses looking to reduce their environmental footprint. It is also available to be carbon captured, on request, through Premier’s sustainability scheme in partnership with the Woodland Trust, further enhancing its sustainability credentials.
