Bobst UK & Ireland brought the printing industry together once again for its eighth annual charity golf day, raising £8400 for Defence Medical Rehabilitation Centre (DMRC) Benevolent Fund.

Twenty teams from across the industry participated in the event, which took place at the Abbey Golf Club, Redditch, to raise money for DMRC Benevolent Fund, a volunteer run organisation that provides holistic, occupational, and social integration opportunities for injured members of the armed forces. The yearly contest has raised over £108,400 for the charity since its inception.

Neil Jones, region services director and general manager at Bobst, said: ‘I speak for the entire Bobst family when I say that we couldn’t be prouder of the way our golf day has flourished into a tentpole summer event for the whole print industry. It is a testament to the generosity and commitment of so many talented individuals in our great industry that this event keeps getting better every year.

‘I want to thank all our customers, sponsors, partners, and participants for their continued support. Their efforts continue to make a world of difference to the lives of the sick and injured armed forces personnel that DMRC serves.’

The team representing Coveris Group took home the trophy on the day, narrowly beating Think B2B Marketing into second place, while Sandon Global, Pulse, and Luke Balcombe finished in third.

Brian (George) Dent, operations manager at DMRC Benevolent Fund, added: ‘Bobst has supported us for over ten years, and its partnership has been invaluable. The positive impact the company and its community have had on the day to day running of our operations at DMRC Stanford Hall cannot be understated. I want to offer my sincerest thanks to everyone who has contributed to the success of this latest fundraising event.’

Bobst will continue to support DMRC Benevolent Fund as its dedicated charity of choice throughout the year.

Next year’s golf day is planned for 25 June 2026.
