Printware has announced the launch of the iJetColor 1175 Pro+PXG, the next evolution of its high speed envelope and short run packaging press.
Building upon the proven success of the iJetColor 1175 Pro platform, first introduced in 2020, the new 1175 Pro+PXG combines envelope production with the flexibility to print and personalise a wide range of packaging applications – all from a single production system.

Printware recently acquired the Straight Shooter equipment company that better supports its growing inkjet product line.
The new model replaces the previous model and will begun commercial shipments in July 2026 after a successful testing programme.
The iJetColor 1175 Pro+PXG continues Printware's commitment to delivering dependable, production ready inkjet solutions that maximise profitability while providing unmatched application flexibility. ‘Customers are asking us how they can do more with inkjet, and the Pro + PXG certainly fits that bill,’ stated Bill Frederick, vice president of sales at Printware. ‘The ability to add profitable short run packaging capabilities to a rugged, proven envelope solution with minimal investment, enables print operations to realise new revenue streams utilising an existing transport system.’
Designed specifically for commercial print companies looking to expand their capabilities, the iJetColor 1175 Pro + PXG delivers exceptional print quality, productivity, and profitability through its rugged industrial design, high speed performance, and ultra reliable vacuum feeding and alignment systems to handle every size of envelopes from coin to oversized padded envelopes including corrugated flats and boxes to paper bags with two automated feeding systems.
‘We didn't design the PXG to be a one size fits all feeder,’ said Duane Smith, director of manufacturing and services. ‘Every critical adjustment point is accessible, allowing operators to dial in performance for virtually any compatible substrate. It is a rugged, production built design that has already proven itself in the field, giving customers a dependable platform they can grow with.’
The system produces vibrant, full colour output using durable pigment based inks that are fade, scratch, and water resistant while delivering some of the industry's lowest operating costs and longest lasting printhead life.
The addition of the integrated PXG Feeding System dramatically expands production capabilities beyond envelopes, allowing printers to produce personalised paper bags, small corrugate, folding cartons, and other packaging substrates with quick changeovers and exceptional registration.
