Pulse continues drive towards quality assurance with ISO accreditations

Packaging Solutions

Narrow web printing ink specialist Pulse is continuing to improve and enhance its operations, backed by multiple ISO accreditations.

Following a recent round of audits, Pulse continues to be certified under ISO 9001 (quality management), 14001 (environmental management), and 45001 (health and safety at work) standards.

While ISO 45001 helps organisations manage occupational health and safety with the aim to reduce injuries and illnesses in the workplace, so ISO 14001 provides a framework for organisations to design and implement an environmental management system (EMS) and continually improve environmental performance. ISO 9001 helps organisations improve performance, meet customer expectations, and demonstrate commitment to quality.

Gary Seward, managing director, said: ‘As a business, we are transitioning from quality control to quality assurance. Key to this is continued certification that demonstrates our ongoing commitment to operational excellence in the narrow web ink industry, the levels we maintain, and heights we aspire to reach.

‘We are demonstrating leadership through our treatment of colleagues and in building a safe and secure workplace, complementing the development and evolution of industry defining solutions such as our PureTone high strength, single pigment inks and Monolox fixed anilox printing system for spot colours.

‘By positioning ourselves as a standout business with the utmost respect for people, products, and the planet, we inspire confidence in our current employees and existing partners, and future colleagues and customers alike.’
