Print Solutions
Pureprint Imprint, the large format and retail services division of Pureprint Group, has expanded its large format roll to roll manufacturing capabilities with the acquisition of a Durst P5 350 HSR D4, a high speed 3.5 metre LED printer, at its Newcastle plant. The decision to invest in the machine was driven by its technical features, including high production speed, versatile material handling, and superior printing resolution.
The Durst P5 350 HSR D4 is expected to yield a multitude of benefits for Pureprint Imprint. These include diversification into out of home (OOH) markets, improved ink mileage, enhanced manufacturing throughput, heightened reliability, and improved quality of products, particularly retail light boxes. The company will expand its product offering to include a range of new items, such as poster bags, heras fencing, lamppost banners, flex-face skins, museum banners, seat kill banners, building wraps, tier and vomitory dressing, scaffolding banners, and crowd barriers.
Dave Bullivant, managing director of Pureprint Imprint, said: ‘We are excited for the start of this journey with Durst as our partner in out of home product production and the opportunities this opens up for new and existing clients.’
