Quality Print Services expands demo suite with triple ColorJet installation

Wide Format Solutions Print Solutions

Quality Print Services (QPS) has significantly expanded its demonstration suite in Lancashire with the installation of three ColorJet LED-UV printers.

QPS was appointed as the official UK distributor for ColorJet's range of UV flatbed and soft signage printers in July 2021 and, in December 2022, moved into new purpose built premises as part of its ongoing commitment to customers.

Thanks to this expansion, visitors to the specialist facility in Burscough will now be able to view live demonstrations of three of ColorJet’s machines, including the Verve 2513M, Vulcan Hybrid X and Verve Mini.

The ColorJet Verve 2513M with Ricoh Gen 6 printheads is an industrial flatbed LED-UV printer that runs at speeds of up to 60 square metres per hour and enables high quality direct printing onto almost any kind of rigid surface including wood, glass, leather and ceramic tiles. As such, it opens up a whole host of markets and applications to the user.

The Vulcan Hybrid X, also with Ricoh Gen 6 printheads, is a two metre wide, high speed printer that can be used as both a flatbed and roll to roll printer. The device can handle substrates such as ACP, foam, board, flute board, glass, ceramic tiles, wood, vinyl and flexible media, opening up all manner of opportunities to users.

Meanwhile, the small format Verve Mini features Ricoh GH2220 printheads and offers another true flatbed LED-UV option to customers. Offering users CMYK plus white and varnish, the printer can handle substrates up to 65 mm thick, including foam board, acrylic, MDF, glass, tiles, cut sheets, leatherette, foil, corrugated paper and more. With a top printing speed of 60 square feet per hour and a compact size, the Verve Mini is the ideal choice for print service providers with limited floor space who are looking to enter new markets.

‘We are delighted to be able to offer customers the opportunity to see these three machines up close at our live demo facility,’ said QPS director Chris Bailey. ‘The best way to learn more about printers like these and truly understand their capabilities is to see them in action.

‘We are looking forward to welcoming both current and potential customers to our new and improved showroom.’
