Reiser UK has appointed Ryan Jones as its new managing director.

Ryan steps into the role from vice president executive at parent company Reiser Holdings, where he supported functions across the business, built strong relationships with the UK team and customers, and gained in-depth knowledge of the Reiser UK portfolio. He brings extensive packaging machinery experience, having begun his career in engineering – including at Bosch – before moving into commercial and sales, and senior leadership roles. These include leading the Southern and Western Europe region for weighing and packing specialist Ishida Europe, and Italian manufacturer Aetna Group’s UK and Ireland business.

With food producers under pressure to manage costs, improve productivity, address labour availability and maintain consistent quality, Ryan’s focus is on helping Reiser UK’s customers solve real production challenges.

‘Reiser already has an absolute obsession with customer support in its DNA. My priority is to build on that, making our business laser focused on our customers’ needs, challenges and future plans,’ said Ryan. ‘With a portfolio that covers the entire process, specialists such as master butchers and bakers on hand, and a leading customer centre where we can bring our solutions to life, we can support producers from start to finish in a way few others can.’

Ryan is equally focused on creating an environment that attracts and retains the best talent in the industry.

‘Culture is incredibly important to me. I want our people to enjoy coming to work, take pride in what they do and feel part of one team,’ added Ryan. ‘I would like to thank everyone at Reiser UK for such a warm welcome – I am excited by what we can achieve together.’

‘We are very pleased to see Ryan step into the managing director role,’ said Steve Todd, Reiser’s president. ‘His in-depth knowledge of our business, extensive industry experience, and strong focus on both our team and our customers make him the ideal leader to drive Reiser UK's next chapter.’
