Reprointelligence joins the Ghent Workgroup

The Ghent Workgroup (GWG) has announced that Reprointelligence, a media technology company specialising in industrial print, has joined the organisation as a vendor member.

With deep expertise in colour and rendering workflows, Reprointelligence (RI) strengthens GWG’s mission to improve PDF based production workflows and enhance interoperability across the print, signage, and graphic arts industries.

Leveraging decades of hands on pressroom and OEM service experience, RI develops tools that connect software based data preparation with real world production requirements, ensuring predictable, high quality output in complex industrial environments.

RI brings extensive experience with PDF and colour workflows in these environments, which is essential for developing meaningful, practical standards. While PDF processing is one component of RI’s broader portfolio, it is rooted in the company’s core focus: industrial print and packaging workflows, where color accuracy, reproducibility, and efficiency are critical.

RIrender, RI’s flagship PDF interpreter, RIP, and colour management solution, is designed for industrial production environments that require seamless integration, advanced spot colour handling, and support for n-colour processes. The software is developed by the RI team from the ground up for Unix and Linux based automation workflows.

RIrender has successfully passed certification on its first submission for both product variants, demonstrating compliance with GWG specifications and confirming its ability to deliver consistent, accurate PDF rendering.
