The Saueressig Group and Hybrid Software have entered into a strategic agreement to support the standardisation and digitalisation of Saueressig’s global repro and workflow operations. The initiative strengthens the technological foundation of the production sites in Europe and Asia and supports the company’s ongoing international growth.
Saueressig is a leading international manufacturer of printing and embossing cylinders for the packaging and surface finishing industries. By working with Hybrid Software, the company is implementing a unified and scalable workflow infrastructure designed to ensure consistent quality, greater efficiency, and reliable production processes across multiple locations.
The project focuses on standardising and automating pre-press workflows across Saueressig’s production network. Hybrid Software’s modular workflow technology enables centralized process control, automated data verification and preparation, transparent approval workflows, and seamless integration with upstream and downstream production systems. The result is a more consistent and efficient production environment, with reliable data quality from pre-press through to cylinder production. Standardised review and approval processes help reduce turnaround times, minimise manual intervention, and improve the repeatability of complex printing and embossing projects.
A key requirement for Saueressig was long term scalability. The new workflow architecture allows additional capacity and new production sites to be integrated into existing standards without compromising quality or process consistency.
‘Our production processes require maximum precision, repeatability, and data security. At the same time, we need to be able to connect new locations in a structured and efficient way. With Hybrid Software, we have a partner that understands these requirements and supports us with a sustainable technology platform,’ said Ingo Beutler, director of pre-press at the Saueressig Group.
Christopher Graf, managing director of Hybrid Software, added: ‘Saueressig is known for industrial precision and the highest quality standards in a demanding market. Together, we are building scalable workflow architectures that combine global standardisation with the flexibility required for future growth.’
The partnership also provided continuity during Saueressig’s successful management buyout. Throughout this period of organisational change, the company maintained a clear technology strategy, with Hybrid Software supporting the continued development of its workflow architecture and helping to ensure operational reliability.
The collaboration marks an important step in Saueressig’s ongoing digital transformation strategy. By combining the company’s expertise in printing and embossing technologies with Hybrid Software’s workflow and automation solutions, the two companies are creating a future ready production environment that supports global standardisation, operational excellence, and long term growth.
