SGS, the leading testing, inspection and certification company, has announced ‘SGS Food Contact Materials Day’ – two half day sessions of complimentary webinars on food contact regulations to be held on July 6, 2023.
For businesses selling food contact materials (FCM), adhering to strict and changeable regulations can be difficult as legislation varies between countries and is always subject to change.
During this day long series of two sets of webinars, SGS experts will provide overviews of major FCM global markets, including China, Thailand, the EU and the MERCOSUR countries of South America. Updates to the latest regulations, plus a European focus on the use of recycled plastics will be covered, and there will also be an opportunity to learn more about poly and perfluorinated substances (PFAS) and how they can be safely managed to ensure compliance with regional, national and international standards.
Regional experts will be available for questions at the end of each session and can provide details of SGS solutions for the management and compliance of food contact materials and products.
Aimed at retailers, brand owners, designers and manufacturers of food contact materials and articles, the webinars are available to join live or view online later.
