Steve Ennew promoted to MPL director
Print Solutions
RMGT press distributor MPL, has announced the promotion of Steve Ennew to the position of technical sales director at the company.
Commenting on Steve’s elevation from his previous position of sales manager,
Mark Stribley, joint managing director of MPL, said: ‘This promotion to director status is in recognition of Steve’s incredible sales success over the last two years. His endeavours have helped RMGT to a position of having over 80% market share in certain sectors, domination within the LED-UV sector, and an increasing presence in B3, B2, and B1 formats.
‘Steve’s brief is simply to continue to increase the sales and market share of RMGT B2, SRA1 and B1 presses in the UK and Ireland. Our business strategy is to capitalise on the high technical specifications that our presses deliver as standard, and show how RMGT’s well known reliability provides the best opportunity for printers to make the biggest margins possible in the offset litho market.
‘Our business thrives on delivering presses that simply print. We make virtually no money from spare parts – RMGT machines rarely breakdown due to parts failure. Press competitors simply cannot match our level of reliability or our ‘real cost of machine ownership’. That ownership figure must include the cost of press downtime – which can sometimes mount up to days – as well as the spare parts required, and the belt and braces service contracts that printers can feel pressurised into taking out.’
