swissQprint is celebrating the installation of its 100th machine in the UK, as Stocksigns takes delivery of its latest Impala flatbed printer.
A long standing client, Stocksigns has been using a first generation Impala since 2010. This helped the business transition from silk screen to digital printing. The quality, reliability, and stress free operation across a range of substrates, made the manufacturer the likely partner of choice when it came to upgrading. However, the business still undertook a full market review before making its decision.

Research to find the perfect replacement for Stocksigns' existing Impala was wide reaching: everything from seeking testimonials from current users, lifetime return on investment analysis, hands on competitor comparisons and a full demonstration across a variety of substrates and materials. This ensured the Impala was once again the perfect machine for the business.
The operators' prior knowledge of the technology, combined with the support of the UK team, played a crucial role in the decision making process.
swissQprint’s commitment to keeping its environmental impact low was also a key factor. With a reduction in energy consumption to 2.2 kWh, the fourth generation Impala brings increased sustainability and productivity to Stocksigns. Also, the solvent and VOC free UV curable inks are Greenguard Gold certified.
The Impala, equipped with CMYK plus white will be at the very front line of Stocksigns growth and development. With its installation, the firm anticipates production times will halve, doubling capacity in the manufacture of its health and safety, statutory and construction site signage.
David Cload, group production manager at Stocksigns, said: ‘Having used our Impala for many years, we are delighted to be the proud owners of swissQprint's 100th machine in the UK.
‘We are confident that it will continue to deliver high impact signage while significantly reducing our environmental impact.’
