Sylvamo has unveiled Berga, the new name for its existing top tier, uncoated, woodfree printing and converting paper portfolio.

Manufactured at the company’s Saillat, France, and Nymolla, Sweden, mills, Berga products are available in reel and sheet formats, delivering exceptional printing and converting results and meeting the highest environmental standards.

The brand was established to provide a platform for introducing enhancements to the existing product range and to foster alignment between the mills, resulting in a more cohesive and customer friendly offering. All phased changes will conclude by the end of 2025, ensuring efficient, customer focused actions and strong partnerships.

Launched at Hunkeler Innovation Days 2025 in Lucerne, Switzerland, Berga received an incredibly positive response from industry professionals. The tagline 'Bringing You Better' reflects the brand’s commitment to continuous improvement, quality, seamless delivery as well as community and workforce support.

Berga offers high performance solutions across various print applications, including high speed inkjet, preprint, offset, envelope and scholastic. The brand ensures excellent colour reproduction through bespoke International Color Consortium (ICC) colour profiles and reliable performance, enabling optimal results for every application.
