Sylvamo to become exclusive ColorLok certified producer

Sylvamo has announced that it will serve as the sole authorised producer of paper certified under the ColorLok technology standard. This development further strengthens the company’s leadership in paper innovation, quality and customer satisfaction.

ColorLok is a globally recognised performance standard for high quality printing, delivering vibrant colors, sharper text and faster drying times across both inkjet and laser printing.

The technology works by incorporating a special additive during paper production, which helps pigments stay near the surface of the sheet. This results in richer colour intensity, darker blacks and reduced ink absorption, ensuring a professional finish with every print. Papers bearing the ColorLok logo have been tested and certified to meet these high performance standards.

Beginning in January 2027, Sylvamo papers – including its brands and private labels – will exclusively carry the ColorLok certification and display the logo on packaging.
