At Interpack 2026, United Caps presented its 27 H-Pak, offering a new level of flexibility in carton packaging applications.

In many carton packaging environments, manufacturers have often had to rely on a very limited set of closure system options. The 27 H-Pak addresses this challenge by offering a reliable alternative that fits into existing production set ups without requiring significant changes. Rather than asking customers to adapt their processes, the focus has been on compatibility and ease of integration. The closure integrates into established filling lines, offering a plug ‘n’ place approach that supports fast implementation while helping manufacturers maintain efficiency and gain more flexibility in how they develop and source their packaging solutions.

In use, the 27 H-Pak introduces practical improvements in handling. Its opening system supports smooth operation, with an opening angle of up to 150 degrees and a stable hinge design that ensures consistent performance both on the production line and in everyday use. The closure works with both standard and aluminium free carton complexes, supporting the industry’s gradual transition towards more sustainable packaging formats. This makes it a forward looking option for manufacturers balancing operational requirements with evolving expectations.

‘In many carton packaging environments, manufacturers have had to work within a very limited set of closure options,’ said CEO Benoît Henckes. ‘With 27 H-Pak, we are introducing a new level of flexibility that allows customers to move forward without having to rethink their entire production set up. That balance between continuity and progress is becoming increasingly important across the industry.’
