From 3 to 5 June, IST Metz is once again inviting visitors to its in-house exhibition for UV, LED and excimer technology: UV Days 2025. Under the motto ‘Mission to Zero’, the company is setting new standards in environmentally friendly curing technology and, with over 40 international exhibitors at its side, will show how modern UV technology conserves resources and offers maximum efficiency.

UV Days has been a key industry event for optical systems since 2002. In 2025, visitors can once again expect an exciting programme – with live demonstrations and exciting innovations, the UV expo, keynote speeches and conferences, theme days and company tours.

The two innovative technologies Freecure and Smartcure are in particular focus this year. Freecure reduces the use of photoinitiators to a minimum or even makes them completely superfluous. This technology is particularly suitable for production with low migration inks for sensitive products and packaging. The solution makes it possible to reduce the number of dryers, which leads to considerable energy savings.

Smartcure is an AI supported curing technology that identifies potential energy savings, optimises the curing process and extends the service life of LED systems. The system analyses all relevant parameters, such as dryer output per unit depending on the ink location, ink and coating type and maximum production speed based on the required dose. The entire UV curing process becomes smarter, more sustainable and more efficient.

The diverse event programme not only offers first hand expert knowledge, but also numerous networking opportunities. Visitors can use the event app to register for the individual programme items. In the afternoon, exhibitors and visitors are invited to round off the day together at the Swabian wine village.

On Tuesday, June 3, the inkjet conference in the afternoon will focus on specific topics. Digital printing experts will report on the latest developments in exciting keynote speeches. The programme will be rounded off with additional live print demos in the UV expo. With the aim of strengthening the exchange between the industries and identifying joint development potential, organiser IST Metz is sending a delegation to the Institute of Aircraft Construction (IFB) on the second day of the event and to the German Institute of Textile + Fiber Research (DITF) on the third day, Thursday June 5. Please register for the excursions separately by sending your name and company details to marketing@ist-uv.com

The UV Days are all about sustainability, efficiency and innovation.

Places are limited. Registration until 30 May, at www.uvdays.com
