The Koehler Group will be providing visitors to drupa with a window into its entire portfolio across all its business units. Innovative and premium specialty paper products, renewable energy projects, research and development projects, and start up partnerships will be among the many things showcased by the Oberkirch based family business at hall 4, stand A20.

The group will be showcasing its incredibly varied core business: innovative specialty paper products. These include sustainable Blue4est thermal paper, cardboard for game cards, fine paper, carbonless paper, premium recycled paper, decor paper, sublimation paper, flexible packaging paper, and applications based on wood pulp board.

In addition, Katz, which is part of the Koehler Group and has been making wood pulp board coasters since the beginning of the 20th century, will be introducing a newly developed product for dry and greasy food to the public for the first time ever.

Kai Furler, CEO, said: ‘In line with our guiding principle of ‘creating value for generations,’ we want to show how we are shaping the future with paper and renewable energy and making a sustainable contribution to our society and the environment.’

The Koehler Group’s experts will not just be available to talk with visitors at the company’s booth, but will also be giving expert presentations and participating in panel discussions at the drupa touchpoint sustainability forum and providing insights into the world of flexible packaging paper and recycled paper products.

In addition, COO Dr Stefan Karrer will be going over the company’s climate strategy in a presentation at the aforementioned forum. Finally, Christoph Wachter, director of flexible packaging Paper at Koehler Paper, will be presenting the various potential uses of flexible packaging paper products at a panel discussion scheduled for the touchpoint packaging forum.
