Cheshire based label printer Vista Labels has installed a second Reflex 330 manufactured and supplied by Focus Label Machinery.
The new press will complement an existing Reflex 330 to enable the company to expand capacity and provide a broader range of high volume labels across a specific market sector.
The Reflex 330 is designed for label printers who are looking to consistent high speed quality production or maybe a move into digital production and require a machine designed for modern technologies.

Vista’s production director, Stuart Mellish, commented: ‘At Vista Labels, we are constantly seeking improved manufacturing processes and have made substantial investments in state of the art technology.
‘We have developed innovative production techniques to raise quality and drive down costs, whilst actively pursuing a policy of waste management and ethical trading. This latest investment represents a further continuation of this process and supports our growth in this market.’
He continued, ‘We find the Reflex 330 very simple to operate and the press was in full production within a couple days after delivery. Focus has always been very helpful and professional and throughout this procurement and installation process, allowing us to run production trials and customer jobs.’
James Thomas, head of sales at Focus, added: ‘Our partnership with Vista Labels brings together its production knowledge excellence plus our own considerable printing and finishing expertise and support. This partnership continues to open up exciting new avenues for Focus and Vista Labels as we are always looking for an alternative way to provide quality production print services.
‘We have built a strong relationship with the company over several years and we are delighted that it has again chosen to partner with Focus in this latest venture.’
He added, ‘The Reflex 330 provides a business model that makes perfect sense to all sizes of printing companies, competing in an ever changing market. The considerable benefits include full or semi-rotary, IR/LED/UV drying, 100% re-registration and a modular upgradable design to futureproof any business in this market.’
He concluded, ‘Being a strong UK manufacture in the heart of the UK enables Focus to deliver exciting new product options at the right price, which is perfect for customers looking to adapt to an evolving market.’
The Focus Label Reflex is a high speed finishing system designed for perfect print to cut registration. It features a servo driven, standalone single colour flexo press with auto re-register capabilities, UV or LED drying, and various finishing options such as die cutting and laminating. The Reflex is capable of print and convert re-register speeds exceeding 120 metres per minute, making it ideal for digital printed applications and high-volume production of labels and packaging.’
