VPK helps ensure Easter gift donations are delivered safely

A community day care centre that cares for the elderly and vulnerable received an Easter donation of confectionery and personal care goods with the support of corrugated packaging manufacturer VPK Packaging UK & Ireland and logistics firm Great Bear Distribution.

Visitors to Marlow House, located near VPK’s Desborough site, received the gifts from Great Bear Distribution which were all packaged in corrugated boxes donated by VPK.

Founded in 1983, Marlow House survives largely on the support of volunteers and donations and provides subsidised services such as meals on wheels, assisted bathing and a welcoming environment for people to socialise.

David Richardson, managing director of VPK UK & Ireland, said: ‘Marlow House does fantastic work, and we are delighted to work in partnership with local businesses to continue supporting them to help care for our local communities.’
