Westbury Packaging has retained its BRCGS AA grade accreditation following its latest audit, reinforcing the company’s commitment to product safety, quality and operational excellence.

The BRCGS Global Standard for Packaging Materials provides a framework for manufacturers to demonstrate that products are safe, legally compliant and quality assured. The accreditation is widely recognised by retailers, brand owners, manufacturers and food service organisations, and supports customer confidence across the supply chain.

According to BRCGS, the Packaging Materials standard is now in its seventh issue and is regarded as a global benchmark for packaging excellence, with more than 6200 certificated sites in over 91 countries. The standard sets out the product safety, quality and operational criteria that certificated sites must meet to support legal compliance and consumer protection.

Ben Tupman, managing director of Westbury Packaging, said: ‘Retaining our BRCGS AA accreditation is a significant achievement for the business and reflects the standards we work to every day. It demonstrates the dedication of our team and gives our customers continued confidence that Westbury Packaging is operating to recognised best-practice standards for quality, safety and compliance. As we continue to invest in the future of the business, this accreditation remains an important part of our commitment to customers and the wider packaging supply chain.’
