Packaging Solutions
London Packaging Week will present the very best in premium and luxury packaging when it combines three iconic events, PCD, PLD, and Packaging Première, under one roof.
Together, exhibitors at the three co-located events will showcase premium packaging solutions for the perfume, cosmetics, personal care, fashion, jewellery, spirits, wine, and soft drink sectors, when it takes place for the first time at London Olympia on 21 and 22 September 2022.
PCD will connect packaging professionals within the cosmetic, skincare, make up, perfume, and luxury sectors, with the very best packaging products, materials, and suppliers, for the year ahead.
Many of the exhibitors will be using the show to launch new products to market. For example, BellaGiada will be presenting its new range of sustainable natural materials, including its certified 100% recycled leather, ‘reborn’, a material previously never used in luxury packaging design and manufacture.
Fillcon will debut its Cosmetic Spouted Pouch Filling solution for cosmetics. The spouted design allows it to be light weight and space saving, whilst using approximately 70% less plastic. The pouches can be recycled or taken to a supermarket supporting the flexible plastic recycling scheme.
Micro Delta Packaging will introduce its SP05 R Trigger Sprayer and Pearl 2 Next Generation Airless System. The new trigger is made from 100% polyolefin making it a recyclable option perfect for body, sun, and hair care products. The Pearl 2 is a travel friendly, high performance dispensing solution ideal for body, sun, and skincare products.
Vetroplas will expand its recyclable offering by introducing a new flip top cap made from HDPE for its 24/410 bottle, and a TIM lid featuring a new PP gasket/seal.
PLD will connect packaging designers, specifiers, and buyers from wine, spirits, and premium soft drinks brands with the world’s leading packaging suppliers and experts, many of which will be launching their latest solutions live at the event.

Borough Chrome Plating will use the show as a platform to launch its lightweight plastic components with metal plating to the packaging community for the first time. The design imitates an original metal finish in look, feel, and durability, but with a considerable weight and cost saving.

Proper Goose will highlight its new sub brand, Bottled Goose, which offers a complete bespoke service for glassware, bottles, plastics, cans, and homeware products, with a range of printing options including matte, gloss, and gradient effects.
The jewel in London Packaging Week’s crown is Packaging Première, an exclusive exhibition to connect those creating packaging for the luxury sector with the international brands looking to entrust the custody of their products to ‘shapes’ that carry the tangible and recognisable sign of world class design.
Exhibiting in 2022 will be Fedrigoni, showcasing its ‘Selected’ collection of the finest papers for packaging. The range is designed specifically to assist designers in the selection of papers and boards for unique packaging projects. The reference tool works to empower packaging designers and their clients to creatively explore ways of choosing papers for their projects.
GMG Color will launch its colour accurate packaging solution using its OpenColor and ColorProof software which enables colour accurate and repeatable proofing direct to packaging production substrates including carton, film, and foil.
Josh Brooks, marketing and community director for Easyfairs’ Packaging Events, commented: ‘Luxury and premium packaging by its nature is very tactile. It is essential that it tells a story to draw in consumers and take them on a journey with the brand. Between our PCD, PLD, and Packaging Première co-located events, London Packaging Week is the perfect place to discover the experts perfectly placed to help brands tell these multifaceted stories through their packaging.’
