Zenith Print Group has installed a new Suprasetter 106 from Heidelberg UK.
This new machine can produce plates at the rate of 45 plates per hour and will run alongside the company’s existing Suprasetter 106, which can also produce plates at the same rate. The new Suprasetter was installed mid March.
Zenith Print Group offers litho, digital and wide format services to both commercial and packaging customers. The two Suprasetter machines (the new machine and the 2018 Suprasetter 106) will supply plates for two XL106-5 LX combination presses and one XL106-8P ‘Push to Stop’ press.
This investment has created much needed additional capacity for the group to meet the ever increasing volume of make readies demanded from its customers, as well as aid in faster job turnarounds.
Zenith Print Group managing director, John Mooney, said: ‘Our customers expect us to react in a certain way. They demand a quick turnaround from our team, in both the commercial and packaging parts of our business. That is why we opted for this investment.’
