Zeus Packaging Group acquires Koex Packaging Solutions to complete Europe wide packaging platform

Zeus Packaging Group has announced the strategic acquisition of Koex Packaging Solutions, a premium packaging business headquartered in Spain. This acquisition reinforces the group’s position as a European packaging leader and strengthens its capabilities in specialty, luxury retail, and sustainable packaging solutions across Ireland, the UK, and Europe.

This acquisition follows Zeus Packaging Group’s successful expansion through key strategic acquisitions, including:

• JJ O’Toole (Ireland).

• Boxmart (UK).

• Smith Bateson (UK).

• Swanline Group (UK).

• Simpac (UK).

Together, these acquisitions have established a powerful, integrated European packaging platform. The addition of Koex Packaging Solutions is complementary both commercially and strategically, enabling a fully integrated capability across packaging design, engineering, sourcing, production, and logistics.

Koex brings specialist strengths in luxury and retail packaging, enhancing Zeus Packaging Group’s premium offering and ensuring customers across Europe can access end to end packaging solutions from concept to delivery. Koex also brings clients in the United States, further extending the group’s international reach and ability to serve global brands across multiple continents.

This latest acquisition is strategically aligned and reinforces Zeus Packaging Group’s ability to deliver full packaging design and structural engineering, high quality printing and litho lamination, the production of luxury bags, specialist and e-commerce packaging, luxury packaging provision, enhanced sourcing and procurement capabilities, and expanded production capacity across Europe.

The combined group can now offer customers the ability to stock and serve across multiple markets, leveraging over 65 production and logistics locations throughout Ireland, the UK, Europe, and North America. This network enables global brands to achieve consistency across their entire estate of locations, while benefiting from localised service and scalable supply.

Zeus Packaging Group already works with global premium brands, delivering packaging solutions that protect products, elevate brand experience, and support sustainability goals. The combined group partners with world leading brands including McDonald’s, Lush, Harrods, Nike, Tag Heuer, and Reebok, providing packaging that complements and enhances premium retail brands.
