Prinovis UK extends Downton Contract for another five years

Prinovis has renewed its UK distribution contract with leading logistics provider CM Downton for another five years. This extends a relationship that started in 2010 and will be worth around £8 million over the duration of the new contract.

Prinovis UK offers a full range of print related services based on gravure printing. In addition to magazines and colour supplements for major publishers and news groups at its plant in Speke, Merseyside, it also proints catalogues, leaflets and other materials for customers across a wide range of industry sectors.

Downton distributes loads direct from the Speke plant to Prinovis customers throughout the UK, including the key news wholesalers. Downton personnel are based on site to liaise with the plant’s production and warehouse teams and plan loads. In addition, it maintains a core fleet of eight vehicles at the site to fulfil the deliveries, with additional capacity provided by its wider national transport network.
