Jenne Smit joins Cron Europe

Cron Europe has announced the appointment of Jenne Smit as vice president of the new Flexo Business Division, demonstrating a further commitment to growing Cron’s market share in Europe.

Jenne joins Cron Europe with many years’ experience in the graphic arts and packaging sector, most recently as sales manager, Europe, Eastern Europe and Central Asia for Xeikon (now part of Flint Group) where he oversaw the pre-press division. He has also previously worked for Agfa, Hagra and ECRM, as well as running his own business.

Jenne’s appointment follows the recent announcement that Stefan Werner is taking over as the company’s sales director for EMEAR, following the retirement of Derek Sizer as regional director.

Jenne will be responsible for the growth of the company’s expanding flexo CTP and pre-press portfolio, including the highly efficient HDI Flexo H and H+ CTP series, which feature high power lasers that can deliver almost double the production speed of previous models, and achieve resolutions up to 9600 dpi as standard, ideal for fine labelling and packaging work. Cron offers an extensive selection of digital pre-press solutions for all kinds of packaging, labelling and commercial applications, compatible with a wide range of plate types, regardless of manufacturer.
