UK open house draws record crowds for Mark Andy Presstek

Mark Andy’s recent open house, at its Presstek facility located in West London, was a great success, the company says. The open house focused on pressroom profitability, with demonstrations of flexographic and digital offset printing solutions. The three day international event drew record crowds from multiple countries including Egypt, Czech Republic, Spain, Israel, and of course, the UK.

At the open house, experts demonstrated the Mark Andy Digital One label press, the lowest cost digital label press on the market. The digital hybrid press is designed for profitable micro to short run labels. The single pass hybrid system provides ready to ship output.

Experts also demonstrated a Presstek 34DI with Eco-UV. The four colour direct imaging press is a high-resolution printing system with a low cost per page for short run commercial printing. The Eco-UV add-on system instantly dries sheets, gives customers greater substrate versatility, and enables faster production turnaround.

Since the acquisition of Presstek this year, Mark Andy has become a one stop shop for flexo and digital offset printing technologies and consumables. As other manufacturers are reducing their support, Mark Andy is expanding its product portfolio and level of support to customers.
