Keyline announces first UK installation at Colourfast Financial

Print Solutions

Keyline MIS, the new cloud based print automation solution, has announced its first installation in the UK – at Colourfast Financial in Brentwood, Essex.

Colourfast Financial Limited specialises in all aspects of financial printing from complex initial public offerings to fast turnaround business compliance documents to global financial markets. Darren Bacon, Colourfast’s managing director, said: ‘At the moment 80% of our work comes from the financial sector and we need very fast turn around of jobs. We have chosen Keyline to fully automate our production process from online order receipt right through to despatch. We currently run eight Konica Minolta machines and by reducing our touch points we think we can be more efficient and in turn more profitable.’

Wayne Beckett of Cloud to Print UK, Keyline’s UK and Ireland reseller, commented: ‘We have only been representing Keyline in the UK for two months and the response has been unbelievable. Software within the print industry is seeing a massive change and Keyline’s philosophy mirrors where MIS needs to be. We are delighted to be working with Darren and his team and will be installing a system that will fully automate their workflow. Colourfast’s vision of future proofing business makes Keyline the perfect solution and our installation team will be working with other suppliers to integrate their software and hardware with Keyline.’

Keyline is not another MIS packed with obscure functions. The developer, Crispy Mountain, decided to take a fundamentally different approach – the ‘M’ in MIS does not simply stand for management, because Keyline extends deeply into the manufacturing process on the shop floor. The system also integrates with machines and external software with extensive APIs, offering a powerful data backbone for the entire operation, that collects, distributes and analyses data from multiple internal and external sources.
