New digital print experts at CGS

CGS has announced two new Fogra certified ‘Digital Print Experts’.

Annika Wiedemann and Lukas Lindwehr successfully demonstrated their solid knowledge and practical experience in several areas of digital printing in an extensive test.

Fogra's certification programme tests for detailed knowledge regarding data preparation for hybrid workflows, (ICC2) colour management and communication as well as ISO standards and the requirements for contract proofing and validation prints.

The certification authorises these new digital print experts to guide customers though the PSD3 certification process, to conduct certification audits for PSD and to submit PSD print checks to Fogra to improve the customers’ print process, enabling printers to prove their ability to create PSD conforming prints. In addition the overall quality of their print process can be assessed.

‘It is very important for us, that – especially our young – employees have the opportunity to widen their knowledge and acquire additional qualifications. It enables and motivates the entire team to face new challenges,’ commented CGS’ product marketing manager Bernd Rückert. ‘And of course, our customers also benefit from it.’
