Antalis Packaging helps TheVeganKind up its influence with #fierce new boxes

Packaging Solutions

Antalis Packaging has helped subscription brand TheVeganKind inject the ‘wow’ factor into its recent collaboration with Vegan influencer Monami Frost by creating a limited edition beauty box.

Based in Glasgow, TheVeganKind is one of the UK’s most popular providers of subscription boxes for vegans, enabling its customers to try out the newest cruelty free beauty and lifestyle products such as cosmetics, skincare and snacks – all delivered direct to their door.

As part of its latest marketing campaigns, TheVeganKind recently teamed up with Vegan vlogger Monami Frost to create a limited edition beauty box, as well as developing seasonal boxes for Christmas, Valentine’s Day and Easter – and, of course, ensuring the right choice of packaging was key.

For TheVeganKind the brief was a critical one; the packaging had to be beautifully designed not only to appeal to Monami’s two million following but also to tailor its brand design for seasonal holidays. Equally though, it was, of course, important that the material and structure was robust and durable to ensure products were fully protected, as well being cost effective for the business.

As such, the expert team at Antalis Packaging was called upon to provide a bespoke solution. Working out of the company’s new Smart Packaging Centre, the team created the full design artwork on all four cartons.

In terms of the aesthetics, the team applied ingenuity and a creative flair to the task, with the Monami Frost limited edition box featuring a spectacular reworking of the tattoo model’s social media alter ego. All work was completed to an exceptional quality within a short time frame.

Ryan Bisland, regional key account manager at Antalis Packaging, commented: ‘The capabilities of our new Smart Packaging Centre meant that for the first time we were able to offer the design and supply of the printed TheVeganKind boxes under one roof. We really enjoyed creating these stunning range of boxes, which not only shows the flexibility of our new design lab but also demonstrates how bespoke digitally printed packaging doesn’t have to cost the earth.’

Four different design prototypes were developed, with Antalis recommending the use of digitally printed boxes as it means multiple full colour prints in the same production run can be printed without incurring any extra stereo costs. Overall, the only set up cost involved die cut cool, keeping the packaging within budget.

Scott McCulloch, co-founder and CEO at TheVeganKind, commented: ‘Ryan and the rest of the team at Antalis have gone above and beyond to make our creative vision come to life, whilst ensuring our packaging remained affordable. As the UK’s leading Vegan subscription brand, our boxes are our ‘shop window’ so it’s important for them to be beautifully designed to reflect our brand ethos and Antalis didn’t disappoint. From creating design mock ups of our bespoke idea to the speed of execution – they have been brilliant and we look forward to working with Antalis on plenty more projects to come.’
