Apprentice 19: Creating pathways to employment in a changing world

Print Solutions

The Stationers’ Company is becoming a powerful influence on the Apprenticeship landscape. Given the company’s strong involvement with the creative industries, it is well placed to facilitate employment opportunities for a diverse group of students from across Greater London.

Building upon the success of last year’s Apprentice 18, held at Ravensbourne University, the Stationers’ Company was invited by the City of London Corporation to hold Apprentice 19 at the Guildhall. It forms the centre piece of the Corporation’s Careers’ Festival.

Over 60 potential employers together with existing apprentices will be there to tell thousands of students about apprenticeship and employment opportunities. Students can enter a pop up virtual reality cube from Hobs the printers, learn about digital apprenticeship opportunities at Pearson, an apprenticeship in journalism from The Telegraph, a software engineering apprenticeship at the BBC or an apprenticeship in marketing and print solutions at Paragon Communications. They will be able to talk to Google, Accenture, Aon, Bloomberg, Barclays, Capgemini, KPMG, Shepherds Bookbinders, The Army and many more.

Apprentice 19 will take place on Tuesday, 18 June and Wednesday, 19 June 2019 at Guildhall, City of London.
